Sterilopes range of sterilisation bags are produced from Kraft medical barrier paper that allows steam and air to pass through under pressure but does not allow bacterial penetration under normal atmospheric conditions.The paper is 60 g/m ² medical grade paper which conforms to the EN 868-3 and DIN 58953, parts 2 and 6.
The paper bags are suitable for the Steam, E.T.O.-gas, formaldehyde and gamma-rays-sterilization, not for plasma-sterilization!
Sealing: The sealing temperature should be approx. 180 °C. For paper bags rotary sealing machines are most suitable.
